Job Description:

The Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for overseeing multifamily housing properties – both affordable and market-rate. The RM will ensure that each property meets or exceeds its financial performance targets, regulatory requirements and ownership objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure properties are staffed optimally
  • Ensure employees are properly trained
  • Ensure properties meet lease-up goals and/or occupancy goals
  • Focus on stakeholder satisfaction – owners, lenders, regulatory personnel (when applicable), employees, and residents
  • Preserve and maintain assets to the highest standards
  • Reinforce regulatory compliance and adherence to all legal requirements
  • Assist with building the multifamily housing portfolio through business development by identifying third party fee business from owners of multifamily housing in the geographic area
  • Lead & Inspire: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple affordable housing properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and provide excellent service to residents
  • Strategize & Optimize: Develop and implement property management strategies that enhance operational efficiency, increase occupancy rates, and improve resident satisfaction
  • Collaborate & Lead: Manage a team of property managers and support staff to deliver exceptional service and performance. Work closely with leasing, maintenance, and finance teams
  • Monitor & Report: Track property performance metrics and provide insights to leadership on financials, occupancy, and resident needs, ensuring continual growth and improvement
