Job Description

Multi Year Family Assistant Needed In Lakewood – Mid June Start. Position Highlights: Located at: Jewell Ave and Yale Ave. Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. with some flexibility for additional hours on occasion. The family is happy to guarantee 45 hours per week. Live-In / Live-Out: Live out. Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match. Start Date: June 15th. Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 4.5 years and 9-months. Mom is a stay-at-home parent. Dad works full-time outside of the home. This family has one large Golden Retriever - all candidates must be pet friendly. Rate of Pay (gross): $30- $32/ hour (gross) + OT for the last 5 hours. Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $75,000-$80,000 per year (gross).

Job Responsibility

  • All standard family assistant duties including child laundry, meal prep, light housekeeping, organizing the home, grocery shopping, running errands and light pet care
  • The ability to travel is required for the position. Family takes approximately two trips per year (4-7 days each) and would love their nanny to travel with them.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers
  • Experience caring for multiple children at one time is required
  • Previous experience with household management duties
  • A proven track record of longevity with past fams is a requirement
  • Candidates within a 20-minute commute will be given extra consideration
  • The ideal candidate has plans to stick around for many years to come and truly enjoys working with children
  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations
