Multi Year Family Assistant Needed In Lakewood – Mid June Start. Position Highlights: Located at: Jewell Ave and Yale Ave. Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. with some flexibility for additional hours on occasion. The family is happy to guarantee 45 hours per week. Live-In / Live-Out: Live out. Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match. Start Date: June 15th. Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 4.5 years and 9-months. Mom is a stay-at-home parent. Dad works full-time outside of the home. This family has one large Golden Retriever - all candidates must be pet friendly. Rate of Pay (gross): $30- $32/ hour (gross) + OT for the last 5 hours. Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $75,000-$80,000 per year (gross).
Job Responsibility
All standard family assistant duties including child laundry, meal prep, light housekeeping, organizing the home, grocery shopping, running errands and light pet care
The ability to travel is required for the position. Family takes approximately two trips per year (4-7 days each) and would love their nanny to travel with them.
Requirements
4+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers
Experience caring for multiple children at one time is required
Previous experience with household management duties
A proven track record of longevity with past fams is a requirement
Candidates within a 20-minute commute will be given extra consideration
The ideal candidate has plans to stick around for many years to come and truly enjoys working with children
Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
