Job Description:

Responsible for spearheading electrical design projects, collaborating with customers, DNOs/IDNOs, and the construction team to ensure smooth design approvals and construction workflows. This position also includes mentoring junior team members, evaluating and approving their work, and actively participating in business development efforts alongside the commercial team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design of electrical projects and bid proposals
  • Promote continuous improvement within the design team and enhance internal processes
  • Coordinate with DNO/IDNOs to secure design approvals
  • Guide customers through the design process, providing support and clarity
  • Prepare cost estimates and project reports
  • Obtain quotations for major procurement items
  • Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth
  • Review, approve, and finalize electrical designs, including those from external consultants and manufacturers
  • Effectively manage the design approval process, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and project discussions
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities during project execution

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Electrical Distribution design up to 132kV
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
