The Opportunity One of the UKs biggest and best independent utility network providers is looking for a new Multi-Utility Design Engineer to join them. Job Responsibility

  • Design electrical, water and gas utility networks and undertake MU demand calculations
  • Preparing network records
  • Ensuring compliance with NRSWA procedures
  • Liaise with other departments to progress approved networks in the design process
  • Implement and develop processes to internally communicate any technical and maintenance requirements for accepted projects
  • Process approved and subsequent variations to network drawings, emergency cover and data submissions in line with system/company requirement
  • Issue data and reports in line with current business requirements
  • Maintain and improve consistent accuracy of data asset records

Requirements

  • Have experience working in a multi-utility design role
  • Have a good working knowledge of at least two of the following utilities: Gas, Water, Electric, Fibre
  • Have a working knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations relating to the design of Multi Utility Systems and the requirements for the technical records
