Job Description:

Our client is a well-established building and maintenance company; due to their expansion they are looking for experienced Multi Traders to join the team in the Portsmouth area. You will be carrying out work on a social housing contract, re-active maintenance, planned works, van and fuel card supplied. You will be working in the Social Housing sector / domestic properties within the Portsmouth area.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out work on a social housing contract
  • Reactive maintenance
  • Planned works
  • Fitting of various types of doors
  • First and second fixing
  • Kitchen installations
  • Repairing minor leaks
  • Replacing sanitary wear
  • Ceramic wall tiling
  • Vinyl floor tiling
  • Non-licenced asbestos removal (where full training will be given)

Requirements:

  • Must live within a 20-mile radius of Portsmouth
  • Must have strong skill sets within carpentry, plumbing, painting & decorating and tiling
  • Must have ability to deal with voids
  • Must have excellent material knowledge
  • Must be able to work on own / manage day to day works
  • Must be able to liaise with supervisor
  • Must be able to work with other trades when need be
  • Must keep van clean and tidy at all times
  • Must have a clean driving license
  • Must provide 2 x sources of references
  • A DBS check will be carried out if successful
