Job Description

Join the Empty Homes team to ensure properties are re-let in a timely manner, working with in-house Trades and sub-contractors to return Empty Homes to new customers with all maintenance work and repairs carried out safely and to the highest standard. Work alongside housing and lettings teams, and new residents to turn an empty home into a warm, welcoming home.

Job Responsibility

  • Completing a wide variety of trades tasks to a high standard
  • Delivering an efficient repairs service to customers
  • Carrying out work and installations in an efficient and effective manner
  • Ensuring all works are in accordance to good building maintenance practice
  • Being an ambassador for the organisation
  • Providing a high-quality, 'right first time' service

Requirements

  • City & Guilds or NVQ qualification relating to trade skills
  • Previous experience in trade skills
  • Clean driving license
  • Pro-active, highly motivated, professional and friendly
  • Good communicator
  • Achievement based approach
  • Top notch customer service skills
  • Ability to supply own hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to cover Out of Hours Callouts on a rota basis
