We're looking for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to carry out high-quality maintenance and remedial works across residential developments in South Wales and the West. Working in both open-market and Housing Association homes, you'll take pride in diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and ensuring every customer receives first-class aftercare.
Job Responsibility:
Visit homeowners across the region for scheduled appointments, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexible hours (evenings or Saturdays with TOIL)
Undertake a variety of multi-trade tasks including carpentry, simple plumbing, plaster patching, mastic work, door adjustments, and general finishing
Identify faults and determine the most effective solutions on site
Deliver an excellent customer experience by communicating clearly and working neatly and professionally
Record job details, notes, and photos accurately using internal systems, ensuring smooth communication with the Customer Service team
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear the correct PPE at all times
Requirements:
Proven multi-trade experience, with strong carpentry/joinery skills (essential)
Background in property maintenance or customer-facing home repair work
Confident in general construction practices, Health & Safety, and environmental standards
Self-motivated and organised, with great problem-solving skills
Professional, calm, and courteous communication style
Full UK driving licence required
