Job Description

We are seeking motivated, hardworking, and dependable individuals to join our dedicated team as Multi-Task Attendants. This rewarding role supports the day-to-day operation of our nursing home across catering, housekeeping, and laundry services, helping to ensure a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Job Responsibility

  • Support a range of services within the nursing home, including catering, housekeeping, and laundry
  • Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments
  • Support the Catering Supervisor/Cook in maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ensure food storage and handling procedures comply with regulations and best practice
  • Assist with kitchen cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Support the delivery of balanced meals that meet residents' nutritional needs
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursing home
  • Carry out cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, polishing, mopping, and sanitising
  • Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and dining rooms are welcoming and well maintained
  • Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures at all times
  • Report maintenance issues or concerns promptly
  • Sort, process, fold, and distribute residents' clothing and linen
  • Maintain high standards of laundry hygiene and quality
  • Assist with stock management and organisation of laundry supplies
  • Ensure all laundry procedures comply with health, safety, and infection control standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a nursing home, healthcare, hospitality, catering, housekeeping, or laundry environment is desirable but not essential
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people and contributing to their quality of life
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills
  • Good awareness of health, safety, hygiene, and infection prevention practices
  • Flexibility to work day, evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required
  • Relevant training certificates are desirable
