Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Operative to carry out high-quality repairs, maintenance, renewals and refurbishment works across Camden’s housing stock and council-owned buildings. You’ll work across a range of trade disciplines, delivering both reactive and planned maintenance works in occupied and void properties. This includes routine repairs, larger refurbishment projects and occupational therapy adaptations, all completed in line with current standards, regulations and best trade practice. Customer care is at the heart of this role. You’ll take pride in delivering work Right First Time, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and tenant satisfaction at all times.

Job Responsibility

  • Carry out building repairs, maintenance and renewals across multiple trades
  • Deliver works in occupied and void housing properties and council premises
  • Complete tasks to a consistently high standard and within agreed timescales
  • Adapt approach to meet the needs of tenants and service users
  • Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, compliance and customer care
