Requirements

Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative with a minimum of two years’ hands-on experience
Strong painting and decorating skills, including surface preparation, paint application, wallpapering, and finishing techniques
Proficiency in problem-solving and assessing work requirements effectively
Broad skill set across multiple trades, with a solid background in property maintenance
Full UK driving licence

Job Responsibility

Assisting with general maintenance and repair tasks across the Inspired Works portfolio, ensuring estates are safe, functional, and well-presented
Improving the visual appeal of interior and exterior spaces, keeping them welcoming and attractive
Carrying out works within occupied properties, both indoors and outdoors, with minimal disruption to residents
Performing carpentry tasks, including framing, door and window installations, woodwork repairs, and kitchen installations and maintenance
Installing and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure effective water supply and drainage
Undertaking tiling, plaster repairs, and minor decorating tasks, maintaining high standards of workmanship
Applying paints, varnishes, stains, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring correct preparation of surfaces with primers and undercoats
Aligning wallpaper for a seamless and visually appealing finish
Applying protective coatings to guard against moisture, corrosion, and general wear and tear
