We are on the lookout for a reliable Multi Skilled Logistics Operative to join our busy distribution team at Isleport, Somerset. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving warehouse environment and has solid hands-on experience operating Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

Job Responsibility

  • Demonstrating a commitment to Health & Safety by working in a safe manner
  • Active involvement, commitment and governance of the quality management system
  • Understand, adhere to and lead good manufacturing practices and company standards of hygiene, PPE, and dress code
  • Effective operation and optimisation of equipment and priorities to meet the production demand
  • Ownership of the changeover activities and material replenishment
  • Analysis and interpretation of operational machine parameters
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely recording of downtime and raw material usage
  • Undertaking basic fault finding and rectification on equipment
  • Ensuring all equipment is properly cared for by the completion of effective cleaning and basic maintenance tasks
  • Making decisions to support improvement to the area KPIs
  • Energising the team and demonstrates a consistently enthusiastic approach
