Multi-Skilled Operative

• Assisting with general maintenance and repair tasks across the Inspired Works portfolio, ensuring estates are safe, functional, and well-presented
• Improving the visual appeal of interior and exterior spaces, keeping them welcoming and attractive
• Carrying out works within occupied properties, both indoors and outdoors, with minimal disruption to residents
• Performing carpentry tasks, including framing, door and window installations, woodwork repairs, and kitchen installations and maintenance
• Installing and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure effective water supply and drainage
• Undertaking tiling, plaster repairs, and minor decorating tasks, maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Applying paints, varnishes, stains, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring correct preparation of surfaces with primers and undercoats
• Aligning wallpaper for a seamless and visually appealing finish
• Applying protective coatings to guard against moisture, corrosion, and general wear and tear

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative with a minimum of two years’ hands-on experience
• Strong painting and decorating skills, including surface preparation, paint application, wallpapering, and finishing techniques
• Proficiency in problem-solving and assessing work requirements effectively
• Broad skill set across multiple trades, with a solid background in property maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
