Are you a proactive Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment? We are looking for an electrically biased, multi-skilled professional to take ownership of the facilities management (FM) for five key retail stores across the Peterborough area. This isn't just about fixing what's broken; it's about ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers and a safe working environment for staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Electrical Maintenance: Conduct PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive repairs on lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, and small-scale installations
  • Fabric & General FM: Address general plumbing (leaks/taps), carpentry (doors/locks), and minor tiling or painting tasks
  • Compliance: Ensure all site logs are up to date and work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
  • Contractor Management: Oversee specialist subcontractors when they are on-site for major works

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition electrical qualification
  • Retail FM experience
  • Based within a commutable distance of Peterborough
  • Full UK driving license
