Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department working within our Ashington maintenance team. As a multi skilled Joiner you will be responsible for undertaking all joinery repairs and associated multi skilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard whilst delivering an excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake all joinery repairs and associated multi skilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Engage with all stakeholders, acting as an Ambassador of Bernicia

Requirements:

  • Hold a City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Joinery or the equivalent
  • Full driving licence
  • An appropriate CSCS card (desirable)
  • Experience of working in a domestic and commercial property maintenance and target driven environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexible approach
  • Sound working knowledge of your trade discipline and wider building construction sector
  • Understanding of components, materials, building trades and applicable regulations
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment where the customer comes first
  • Ability to contribute positively to change and adapt to new ways of working
