Multi Skilled Engineer

• Provide commercial gas, heating, combustion and building services engineering maintenance to a variety of client properties
• Include commercial, domestic gas and HVAC systems, bias fault finding, repairs, servicing, and installation
• Responsibility for commercial combustion, heating and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames
• Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and related tasks
• Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
• Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas
• Undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients gas/heating systems
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship
• Issue of Permits to Work
• Ensure that all gas/heating equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria
• Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company/industry standards
• Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction
• Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out
• Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management
• Be always fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs
• Ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately
• Ensure compliance with H&S/Industry regulations, risk assessment, COSHH etc
• Suggest improvements and innovations to improve the service provided

• Commercial Gas Qualifications: Commercial Core Safety: COCN1 or CODNC1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
• Domestic Core Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1
• City & Guilds / NVQ level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or related Mechanical engineering discipline
• Gas Safe Registered
• IPAF / PASMA
• Full UK Driving License
