Job Description:

Are you a proactive engineer looking to join a high-performing shift team? We are seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to optimise equipment utilisation and deliver maximum production volume at the highest quality standards. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a vital role in providing rapid response to breakdowns and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) using Electrical, Control System, Automation, and Mechanical Engineering skill sets
  • Diagnosing, testing, and repairing Mechanical and Electrical equipment faults
  • Identifying failure modes and trends through RCA processes (e.g., 5 WHY) to drive long-term reliability
  • Recording all maintenance tasks on the SAP system and ensuring all tasks are risk-assessed (DRA)
  • Seeking cost-effective improvements to site assets and supporting project/change initiatives
  • Delivering on-the-job training to colleagues and apprentices through the creation of SMP/SOPs

Requirements:

  • Recognised/Certificated Engineering Apprenticeship
  • ONC/HNC/NVQ Level 3
  • 18th Edition qualified
  • Minimum of 5 years in maintenance within a Manufacturing Industry with a Mechanical/Electrical bias
  • A team player with a flexible and enthusiastic outlook
  • proactive in approach to health, safety, and KPI management
