Job Description:

Shift Engineer - Mechanical or Electrical Bias (Kings Lynn). You will be working a 4 on/4 off days & nights shift pattern, ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical and electrical systems across production and site facilities. You will deliver high-quality work, support both engineering and production teams, and focus on maximising equipment uptime and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance in line with safety, quality, and company standards
Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Responding to production needs and coordinating work with engineers and factory leadership
Liaising with contractors and sourcing essential spares cost-effectively
Keeping the workshop and work areas clean, following toolbox and safety procedures

Requirements:

Apprentice-trained, multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical or electrical bias
Relevant engineering qualifications
Prior experience in food, FMCG, or manufacturing environments is preferred
Proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
Positive, flexible, and committed to contributing to a supportive and family-like workplace culture
