Job Description:

Are you an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer looking to join a market-leading FMCG manufacturer? This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team, across a wide variety of modern machinery, in a challenging and rewarding environment. We're seeking a proactive engineer who thrives in a busy production setting, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement and engineering projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on processing, production, packaging, and site facilities equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with engineering projects
  • Maintain accurate CMMS records
  • Work with equipment including mixers, check-weighers, fillers, flow-wrappers, and conveyors

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Possess a stand-alone electrical qualification (essential)
  • Have prior experience as a multi-skilled engineer within FMCG or manufacturing
  • Be familiar with site plant and facilities maintenance
  • Demonstrate strong numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Ideally have exposure to TPM, WCM, or Lean methodologies
