Time served Multi-skilled Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering
Proactive and dynamic approach to safety
Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure whilst having a high attention to detail
Flexibility with a positive attitude and the ability to work well within a small team

Job Responsibility

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown/Reactive Maintenance of Plant and Equipment
Ensure the Engineering maintenance carried out in line with the current schedule and effective and efficient corrective action is taken
Quick and effective response to breakdowns, where possible identifying root cause and suggesting possible improvements to prevent further breakdowns occurring
Communicate unscheduled breakdowns to Management and work with the operations department to minimise plant disruption
Record and identify spare parts that have been used through CMMS and to Engineering Manager
Follow good engineering standards and good hygiene practice for the department across the whole site
Ensure Maintenance and Engineering practices are audit complaint
Ensure all activities are carried out within company and legislative health and safety and environmental guidelines reporting any issues
Ensure compliance through regular process weigher and Liquid meter calibrations (weights and measures Act)
Proficient in engineering operations whilst working in hazardous environments (Confined Space Entry, Hot working in confined spaces, Hot working, WAH)
