Requirements

Time served multi skilled maintenance engineer (mechanically bias)
Relevant experience in a fast-paced preventative maintenance environment
Electrical understanding (BS 7671)
Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic systems and compression moulding
Ability to fault find on electrical and mechanical systems.
Good IT experience with Microsoft Packages such as Word and Excel

Job Responsibility

Service and maintain all plant, equipment and building services in line with the company’s preventative maintenance standards and procedures.
Support the sites EHS compliance obligations
Machine tool changes and modifications
New equipment installation and modification
Safety system installations and improvements
Movement or re-organisation of production lines
Installation of services to support the sites development.
Assist with implementation of changes to manufacturing processes.
Any other activities requiring practical engineering support in their implementation.
Produce work instructions for specific job tasks.

Job Responsibility

Service, maintain and repair factory equipment to minimise downtime
Attend breakdowns quickly and effectively
Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and test equipment

Maintain high health & safety and GMP standards
Support continuous improvement and site projects
Communicate clearly with engineering and operations teams
Keep accurate records and ensure smooth handovers

Multi-skilled maintenance engineer - electrical bias highly desirable
Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or other fast-paced environments
Strong troubleshooting skills - able to work independently and think on your feet

Happy to get involved in both day-to-day maintenance and large-scale project work

Job Responsibility

Planned & reactive maintenance - around 5 scheduled jobs per day, plus responding to breakdowns as needed
Work on a mix of older plant and modern high-speed automated equipment
Support major capital investment projects, including installations, commissioning, and upgrades
Carry out fault finding and repairs across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
