Job Responsibility

  • Undertake electrical compliance works, primarily electrical equipment testing but in addition may be required to undertake emergency lighting testing
  • Assist in various other electrical compliance works, all following customer's scope, specification and instruction, as well as guidance and instructions from Project Managers/Technicians in a safe and timely manner and to a high quality standard
  • Carry out electrical equipment testing without immediate supervision in a safe, efficient and economical manner
  • Liaise with Clients, sub-contractors and suppliers as required

Requirements

  • Must have obtained a City and Guilds 2377 inspection and testing of electrical equipment certificate or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of industry best practice and regulations (e.g. safety and electrical regulations)
  • Understanding of safe behaviours on sites to drive a positive safety culture
  • Good communication skills
  • Good time management
  • Ability to work in a team/be a team player
  • Ability to work under pressure on projects
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver works to a high quality standard
  • Structured and logical problem solving on site projects
