We are currently recruiting a dedicated, resourceful, and highly mobile Site Supervisor for a permanent vacancy on behalf of a progressive academy trust. This full-time role is available for an immediate start.

Job Responsibility

  • Sharing responsibility for overall security, cleanliness, and maintenance of both Bedale and Ripon academy buildings and grounds
  • Managing opening and closing routines of the sites
  • Performing routine compliance checks, monitoring health and safety protocols, and keeping accurate logbook records
  • Liaising with site leadership, staff, and external contractors to ensure maintenance tasks are handled swiftly and safely

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between the Bedale and Ripon sites
  • Proven experience in building maintenance, groundskeeping, basic repairs, and keyholding duties
  • Solid understanding of school compliance, including fire safety, water hygiene checks, and general risk assessments
  • Capability to manage own workload effectively when moving between different sites
  • Current Enhanced DBS check covering both children and adults
  • Full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK
