Job Description:

Joining as a Multi-Site Relief Care Worker is a fantastic career choice that allows you to make a real and meaningful difference to the lives of others. We are currently looking for Relief Care workers who are active, kind and respectful to join our multi-site relief staffing team.

Job Responsibility:

Work across the Adult Social Care in-house services within GCC to supplement existing care teams when required
Ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of the service
Support permanent teams by working shifts where possible
Ensure consistent care across the in-house services during busy periods, when permanent staff are unwell or on leave

Requirements:

Experienced in supporting or working with vulnerable people, ideally adults in a care setting
Strong communication and listening skills
Positive attitude and ability to confidently deal with challenges and problems
Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care or willingness to undertake it
Willingness to undertake the Care Certificate learning as part of the induction programme
Right to work that enables commitment to at least 6 months employment
Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in fluent English
