Job Description:

The Multi Property Systems Manager contributes advanced knowledge and skill in technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support business and technology (IR) objectives. The role supports hotel management with technology implementation, end-user and infrastructure support, compliance, and preventative maintenance, while ensuring hotel-based technology consistently meets Marriott standards. This position provides support defined within the Property IT Shared Services Agreements and participates in rostered 24/7 emergency support coverage. The Multi Property Systems Manager interfaces with vendors, Marriott’s service desks globally and regionally, hotel associates and executive teams, above-property stakeholders, service providers, and Global Technology teams. The role also ensures security compliance and effective technology operations across the assigned hotels.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure hotel technology compliance with all Marriott International Policy and Information Security Manual requirements
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of applications and hardware
  • Act as the hotel liaison for IT vendors providing support and services
  • Provide escalation support for out-of-SLA issues with third-party vendors
  • Assist properties in resolving complex issues involving multiple systems and vendors
  • Reinforce communication to property leadership regarding IR policies, projects, issues, and plans
  • Provide status reports to property management teams as required
  • Support management of the technology/asset lifecycle for each property (infrastructure and EUC devices)
  • Assist with the implementation and upgrade of property systems
  • Provide infrastructure support to hotel operations in line with defined support processes
  • Manage desktop/laptop backups and provide desktop support to end users
  • Assist with moves/adds/changes for EUC devices
  • Manage server and infrastructure backups
  • Maintain a secure and well-organized computer room environment
  • Apply security and OS patches as directed by corporate and divisional technical leads
  • Help create and execute disaster recovery plans
  • Ensure Box Repository documentation is current, including local copies at outlying properties
  • Monitor support case flow between the Support Desk and technology partners
  • Manage Active Directory environments for assigned properties
  • Partner with the EMEA IT Infrastructure team to maintain effective operations, including Marriott’s VDI environment
  • Work with Continent Information Security Partners, Field Support Services, and Infrastructure Teams to ensure all hotels remain security compliant
  • Provide data analysis and recommendations regarding cost-effectiveness of software licenses and subscriptions
  • Maintain documentation for cabling, network systems, and applications

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of IT management experience, ideally within the hospitality industry
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Hotel operations experience with demonstrated hospitality management skills
  • Experience with networks, hardware, desktop/peripheral support, operating systems, and Marriott applications (e.g., MARSHA, Opera, Sales & Catering)
  • ITIL certification desirable
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborative team player
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and telecommunications
  • Ability to engage directly in resolving issues
  • Effective communication skills — written, verbal, and technical
