Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining property facilities, including building, grounds, and physical plant. Oversees budgets, preventative maintenance, and regulatory compliance while leading the emergency response team. Requires engineering expertise and management experience.

Job Responsibility:

Provides a high level of property maintenance knowledge
maintains the building, grounds and physical plant with a focus on safety, security and asset protection
manages the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation
develops and implements strategies that exceed the needs of guests and employees
maintains standards and regulatory requirements
leads the emergency response team for all facility issues
works with property and regional engineering leadership to monitor budget performance
administers service contracts
oversees preventative maintenance and 10-year asset protection plans
ensures compliance with regulations and life safety systems
manages departmental controllable expenses
supervises construction projects to ensure timely completion
resolves guest problems and complaints
communicates departmental goals consistently
develops an engineering operating strategy aligned with the property’s business strategy

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
6 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing
2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing
