Multi-Modality Technologist I - Per Diem - Evenings - FSED

• Prepares equipment and supplies
• Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s) taking appropriate action to resolve image quality issues
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results
• Charges appropriately for all supplies used for procedure(s)
• Takes on call shift responsibilities as required by the department
• Reviews patient history and physician's orders
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation
• Assists with preparation and administration of contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate

• Accredited Program: Imaging
• One (1) year of technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in either of the following within one (1) year of hire date: Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI)

• BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD)
• BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD)
• BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA)
• BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE)
• BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida
• Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to build and foster positive relationships
• must be able to lead others and take appropriate action when required
