We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Multi-Entity Staff Accountant to join our dynamic accounting firm based in Carlsbad, California. The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple client accounts, utilizing advanced accounting software and AI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Job Responsibility:

  • Perform comprehensive bookkeeping for multiple client entities, ensuring accuracy in financial records
  • Record and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online, including bank and credit card statements
  • Process vendor invoices, manage approvals, and reconcile statements for accounts payable
  • Generate and send client invoices, monitor collections, and reconcile accounts receivable aging reports
  • Assist in payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accurate reconciliations
  • Prepare and close monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
  • Utilize AI tools to streamline reconciliation processes and draft detailed financial summaries
  • Analyze large Excel datasets using advanced formulas and pivot tables to identify discrepancies
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and communication is proactive
  • Develop and maintain financial models and templates to enhance reporting accuracy

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Minimum of two years' experience with QuickBooks Online in an environment that requires attention to detail
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and monthly financial close procedures
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet strict deadlines
  • Accounting Degree
