Job Responsibility:

  • Working with women in refuge across two London boroughs
  • Creating tailored support plans to address immediate practical and emotional needs
  • Conducting risk assessments and safety plans
  • Helping with benefits and budgeting
  • Exploring pathways for resettlement
  • Promoting social inclusion, encouraging independence, and helping women build resilience
  • Creating a support network and enabling engagement with other services

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in specialist support services, working directly with women and families facing multiple challenges
  • Case work focused on offering proactive and emotional support to women recovering from domestic abuse
  • Adept at collaborating with various agencies, always approaching these partnerships with a professional and proactive attitude
