Job Description

Wissen Technology is looking for an experienced Multi Cloud Architect to design, build, and govern secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platforms across multiple cloud providers. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and security, strong hands-on experience with Azure (mandatory) along with AWS or GCP, and proven capability in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role will work closely with delivery, security, and client stakeholders to define cloud strategies, architect solutions, and drive cloud adoption best practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and architect multi-cloud solutions leveraging Azure and at least one other cloud platform (AWS or GCP)
  • Lead cloud infrastructure and security architecture including network design, identity and access management, encryption, monitoring, and compliance
  • Define and implement cloud landing zones, governance frameworks, and best practices
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to support cloud operations, deployments, and optimizations
  • Collaborate with application, DevOps, and security teams to enable secure-by-design cloud architectures
  • Review and optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, availability, and security
  • Support cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and hybrid/cloud-native architectures
  • Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and mentorship to engineering teams
  • Participate in client discussions, solutioning, and technical proposals as required

Requirements

  • 10 to 12 years of overall IT experience with significant exposure to cloud architecture
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (mandatory)
  • Experience with at least one additional cloud platform: AWS or GCP
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, and load balancing
  • Strong expertise in cloud security concepts such as IAM, network security, encryption, key management, logging, monitoring, and compliance
  • Mandatory experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code in production environments
  • Programming/scripting knowledge for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
  • Experience designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant architectures
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and automation practices
  • Should be a Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

Nice to have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native DevOps tools
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Architect
  • Experience working with enterprise clients, especially in regulated environments
