The Multi-agency Forum Co-ordinator (MAFCo) will join the existing Multi-Agency Support Service, which oversees the development and delivery of Gloucestershire's education facing fora, that aim to identify and reduce educational barriers through a collaborative and systemic approach. This MAFCo position will focus on supporting the council to fulfil its statutory duty under Section 19 of the Education Act, 1996. Leading complex multi-agency meetings and synthesising information held by multiple agencies, the role will have a significant impact on the lives and educational progress for some of Gloucestershire’s most vulnerable children. This role will support existing MAFCo's to deliver against multi-agency priorities outlined in the Inclusion and SEND strategies (2222-2026).
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work with colleagues to dynamically assess daily priorities
Ability to articulate the benefits of working collaboratively across organisational boundaries
Robust understanding and significant experience of working with Section 19 of the Education Act, 1996, and other relevant legislation
Experience thriving leading others practise in support of improved outcomes for children of statutory school age
