Job Description:

The Multi-agency Forum Co-ordinator (MAFCo) will join the existing Multi-Agency Support Service, which oversees the development and delivery of Gloucestershire's education facing fora, that aim to identify and reduce educational barriers through a collaborative and systemic approach. This MAFCo position will focus on supporting the council to fulfil its statutory duty under Section 19 of the Education Act, 1996. Leading complex multi-agency meetings and synthesising information held by multiple agencies, the role will have a significant impact on the lives and educational progress for some of Gloucestershire’s most vulnerable children. This role will support existing MAFCo's to deliver against multi-agency priorities outlined in the Inclusion and SEND strategies (2222-2026).

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the council to fulfil its statutory duty under Section 19 of the Education Act, 1996
  • Lead complex multi-agency meetings
  • Synthesise information held by multiple agencies
  • Support existing MAFCo's to deliver against multi-agency priorities outlined in the Inclusion and SEND strategies (2222-2026)

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
