We are seeking a MuleSoft Integration Designer to serve as the critical "glue" layer between our enterprise architecture and our client's technical delivery teams. This is a semi functional, heavy design role designed for an integration specialist who possesses deep technical roots but focuses primarily on design. You will be responsible for translating complex enterprise architectural diagrams into practical, granular blueprints, API specifications, and mapping documents that developers can seamlessly execute.
Job Responsibility
Translate high-level enterprise architecture designs into detailed, developer-ready integration specifications and data mapping documents.
Define and design reusable APIs, asset frameworks, and integration flows utilising MuleSoft Anypoint Platform capabilities.
Ensure all integration designs adhere to API-led connectivity principles, security standards, and governance best practices.
Work side-by-side with delivery teams to clarify design requirements, unblock technical ambiguities, and perform design reviews during build phases.
Requirements
Extensive, hands-on design experience within the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (including Design Center, Exchange, and API Manager).
Deep understanding of MuleSoft’s API-led connectivity approach (System, Process, and Experience APIs) and modern integration patterns.
Proven ability to bridge the gap between abstract architecture and concrete development, creating practical execution blueprints for engineering teams.
Strong proficiency in data transformation languages (DataWeave), RAML/OAS specification design, and handling complex data formats (JSON, XML, flat files).
