Job Description:

Gressingham is a family-owned business. It has grown to become the largest Duck Producer in the UK. We have an opportunity for a Full time Muck Team Operative to join our business working across our farms in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Requirements:

  • Ensure the Mucking out of buildings after depletion, predominately with telehandler/Weidmann, but will also require manual sweeping and forking out of corners and smaller buildings
  • Ensure a high standard of Bio Security, washing and cleaning of machines in and out on a regular basis to high standard
  • Ensuring that any arable tasks, hedge cutting, material moving (dirty water, soil, crushed concrete, topping) is completed
  • Operating all machinery to a safe and high level of health and safety
  • Maintaining equipment to a full working condition and reporting any faults or damages to the manager
  • Follow current legislation and any road safety guidelines
  • Follow safe operating procedures for all machinery being used
  • Be able to work on your own initiative and as a team member and have good communication skills with all team members and team leader.
  • Must be flexible at short notice
  • Long working hours at short notice
  • Willing to turn hand to any job that may be required outside of tractor driving and tele handling
  • Full drivers license or tractor license. Experience in tractor driving and tele handler preferred, but training will be given to the right candidate
