Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable MSP IT Specialist to join our team in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. In this role, you will provide critical technical support to clients, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. Job Responsibility:

Deliver Level 2 technical support to clients, addressing issues across servers, networks, firewalls, and cybersecurity systems
configure, deploy, and maintain Fortinet firewalls and other essential networking equipment
troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Windows Server environments and networking protocols, including VLANs, routing, and switching
collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate resolution of client IT concerns
participate in client-facing projects such as system migrations, upgrades, and new implementations
provide both remote and onsite support to end users, ensuring seamless IT operations
travel occasionally to client sites within approximately an hour of the office, with travel expenses covered
maintain cybersecurity best practices to safeguard client systems and data
build and sustain strong client relationships through attentive and responsive service

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in an MSP or similar IT support environment
proficiency in managing Windows Server environments and networking fundamentals, including VLANs, routing, and switching
experience with firewall configuration and management, with Fortinet expertise preferred
solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
strong ability to support end users both remotely and onsite
excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and effectively
a detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
capability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
