Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MS SQL / Azure DBA Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases on-premises and in Azure cloud environments. The candidate will ensure database performance, security, and availability for enterprise applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server and Azure SQL databases
  • Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and storage
  • Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
  • Manage security, user permissions, and compliance for databases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
  • Implement database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions
  • Collaborate with application teams for database design and optimization
  • Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and policies

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with MS SQL Server and Azure SQL databases
  • Knowledge of T-SQL, database optimization, and performance tuning
  • Experience with backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning
