The Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric architectures for enterprise clients. This role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on SQL and Microsoft Fabric. A university degree is required, and a BSc/MSc in Computer Science or Data Engineering is preferred. Requirements:
Minimum 7–10 years in data architecture, engineering, or consulting roles
1-2 years in Microsoft Fabric solution architecture
University degree required
BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field preferred
Microsoft Fabric certification(s) strongly desirable
Proven expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric architectures for enterprise clients
Strong consulting values with the ability to interface effectively with senior stakeholders
Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI/analytics tools
Deep understanding of the data lifecycle (ingestion, storage, processing, governance, consumption)
Ability to link business objectives with technology strategy and execution
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Experience leading data modernisation initiatives across multiple sectors (e.g., banking, insurance, telecom, public sector, manufacturing, retail)
Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric core features
Proficiency in cloud ecosystems (Specifically Azure, optionally AWS and GCP are an advantage) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)
Strong background in databases, data warehouses, and distributed processing frameworks
Familiarity with BI and data exploration tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Talend)
Experience with data security, governance, and compliance frameworks
Expertise in large-scale ETL/ELT pipeline implementation using custom and packaged tools
Nice to have:
