Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Group Business Applications, you will own the technical support and operational health of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and associated business applications across the organisation — keeping them secure, stable, and continuously fit for purpose.

Job Responsibility

  • Senior technical support for D365 Finance & Operations: service stability, issue resolution, system availability
  • Day-to-day operational management: integrations, access provisioning, permissions, batch jobs, performance monitoring, backups, environment support
  • Complex incident troubleshooting: root cause analysis and permanent fixes to reduce recurrence
  • Change and release support: gathering technical requirements, coordinating testing, validating deployments, and managing transition into support
  • Stakeholder and vendor collaboration: enhancing D365 capabilities and aligning solutions to business needs
  • Security and compliance administration: role-based access control, data protection, audit support
  • Documentation: maintaining high-quality technical procedures, support guides, and knowledge articles
  • Mentoring: guiding and developing the functional analyst
  • Proactive improvement: analysing logs, telemetry, and support trends to identify and act on opportunities
  • Reporting: producing service updates, technical summaries, and operational reporting

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on D365 Finance & Operations support experience in a technical or application support capacity
  • Strong grasp of D365 architecture: security model, integrations, batch processing, data entities, environment management
  • SQL, database analysis, and scripting skills (Python or PowerShell)
  • Solid understanding of release management, incident management, testing, and change control
  • Microsoft Dynamics certification or equivalent ERP accreditation is desirable
  • Strong Excel and Power BI skills
  • able to analyse and present operational data clearly
  • Experience in complex, multi-entity or multi-currency environments is an advantage
  • Confident communicator across technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership

Nice to have
