The MS Dynamics CRM Lead - Field Service is a pivotal role that requires over 10 years of experience in Dynamics 365 and Field Service delivery. The candidate will lead the design and implementation of solutions, focusing on ERP and IoT integrations. Strong skills in .NET, Power Platform, and stakeholder leadership are essential.   • Architect and deliver Field Service capabilities end-to-end: Work Orders, Incident Types, Service Tasks, Agreements/PM, Customer Assets/Functional Locations, Inventory/Warehouses/Returns, SLAs/Entitlements
  • Design scheduling at scale: Bookable Resources/Requirements, Scheduling Board, Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO), travel/crew skills, territory rules
  • Lead Field Service Mobile (Power Apps) experiences (offline profiles, sync filters, security roles), inspections, barcode/geo, and device integrations
  • Implement customizations: Model-driven apps, Dataverse schema (tables/relationships), forms/views/business rules, JavaScript/TypeScript, PCF (React/TS), plugins/custom actions (.NET/C#), Power Automate flows
  • Integrate with enterprise systems: ERP (e.g., Dynamics 365 Finance/Supply Chain) for parts & inventory, Azure (Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps), Connected Field Service (IoT Hub/IoT Central), external dispatch/telematics
  • Establish solution layering, environment strategy, and CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub) from Non-Prod → Prod with automated tests and approvals
  • Drive performance/telemetry (Application Insights), data/security models (teams/roles/field security/auditing), and Copilot/AI features adoption
  • Mentor engineers, run design reviews, produce ADRs/runbooks, and partner with Product, Architecture, and Support

Requirements:

  • 10+ years on Dynamics 365/Dataverse, with deep Field Service & RSO delivery
  • strong .NET/C#
  • Expert in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), PCF, plugins/workflows, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Proven ERP and IoT/Connected Field Service integrations
  • strong error-handling and resiliency patterns
  • Hands-on ALM/CI-CD for D365 solutions (solution pack/unpack, config migration, env variables, test automation)
  • Excellent stakeholder leadership, troubleshooting at scale, and documentation
