We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team. Job Responsibility:

  • Working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff
  • Adhering to protocol and procedures to produce high quality images and an exceptional standard of patient and customer care
  • Teamwork and working together to provide the best service for all

Requirements:

  • Some (1 – 2 years) MRI experience with the ability and organisational skills to work with the team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy
  • Accustomed to performing different type of MRI scans on a routine basis
  • IV Cannulation skills are essential for this role
  • Evidence of Clinical competency
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills including time management
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to be innovative and forward thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Strong on attention to detail
  • Must be IT literate
  • Able to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team
  • HCPC registration

  • Produce high-quality governance and performance reports for the Imaging Governance Committee and other relevant committees
  • Support the department in achieving and maintaining accreditation and regulatory compliance, including adherence to MR safety standards and Local Rules
  • Manage patient complaints and incidents related to imaging, ensuring that all are investigated and appropriately closed with a focus on learning and resolution
  • Drive innovation by trialling and implementing new imaging technologies and protocols to improve patient outcomes, experience, and departmental efficiency
  • Provide training, mentoring, and development opportunities to the imaging team, ensuring skills and knowledge are continuously enhanced
