As part of our experienced and supportive MRI team, you'll work with one of the most diverse scanner fleets in the region, including our new GE SIGNA™ Voyager 1.5T, existing GE 1.5T and 3T, Siemens Aera 1.5T, and Philips Ambition X 1.5T. You'll also have the opportunity to support our satellite service in Clacton, giving you exposure to a varied and rewarding caseload across multiple sites. This is more than just a new scanner—it's an opportunity to be part of an ambitious and growing service. We have exciting plans for future expansion, including the potential introduction of Cardiac MRI, making this an ideal role for Radiographers looking to broaden their expertise. Job Responsibility
Working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff
Report to the Unit Manager but also have support from an MRI manager and clinical leads
Adhering to protocol and procedures to produce high quality images and an exceptional standard of patient and customer care
Work with one of the most diverse scanner fleets in the region
Support our satellite service in Clacton
Participation in our on-call service is also required
Requirements
HCPC registration
Around 1–2 years of MRI experience, with the ability to perform a broad range of routine MRI examinations
A patient-centred approach, with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding care and an excellent patient experience
IV cannulation skills, or a willingness to undertake training (training will be provided where required)
Evidence of clinical competency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, colleagues and referrers
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to use your initiative when required
Good IT skills and experience of working with digital imaging systems
