Job Description:

You’ll be behind the wheel of our specialised sweeping vehicles and hitting the pavement for manual clearing. This is a "hands-on" role that blends professional driving with active labouring. Shift Times: Starts at 1:30 AM and wraps up around 10:00 AM. Flexibility: While 1:30 AM is the standard, you’ll need to be flexible with start times to meet seasonal demands or special events. Overtime: Plenty of opportunities to pick up extra hours for those looking to boost their take-home pay.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating Council sweeping vehicles to clear debris and litter from suburban and main roads
  • Performing manual labouring tasks, including clearing footpaths and hard-to-reach areas
  • Conducting pre-start vehicle checks and basic maintenance
  • Ensuring our streets are pristine and ready for the morning commute

Requirements:

  • A current MR (Medium Rigid) licence is essential
  • You must be able to pass a National Police Check and a Drug & Alcohol screen
  • You must be an Australian Citizen
