Job Responsibility:
Installing, configuring, and administering messaging queue managers in Linux environments
Managing queues, channels, clustering, listeners, and high-availability configurations
Monitoring messaging platforms and troubleshooting queue depth, channel failures, and performance issues
Supporting and maintaining secure messaging environments including certificates and encrypted communications
Troubleshooting production and application issues related to messaging platforms
Performing capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery testing
Supporting event-driven messaging platforms and broker technologies from an infrastructure perspective
Contributing to automation and operational improvements using scripting tools
Requirements:
6–8+ years experience administering enterprise messaging platforms in distributed environments
Strong experience working within Linux systems
Knowledge of messaging platform architecture, clustering, and performance optimisation
Experience supporting large-scale production environments
Experience with monitoring tools and system performance analysis
Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (Shell, Python, or Ansible)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
Basic SQL knowledge
Exposure to automation tools such as Jenkins
Experience supporting event-driven messaging or broker platforms
