Job Description:

The role of a mover and handling operator is primarily carried out in logistics platforms, storage warehouses, storage facilities, freight zones, railway stations, airports, production factories, or transport companies. Many industries recruit handling operators or forklift operators.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing handling operations such as storage, retrieval of products, organizing, or moving goods and products within a warehouse
  • These tasks can be carried out manually or using non-motorized equipment
  • When using motorized equipment, the role is referred to as a 'forklift operator'
  • Occasionally performing simpler tasks such as inventory checks or sorting operations
  • In retail environments, they may assist with stocking and organizing shelves
  • All tasks must be completed while adhering to strict safety guidelines and hygiene regulations

Requirements:

  • Loading and unloading goods and products
  • Sorting and organizing merchandise based on specific criteria (e.g., expiry date, storage conditions, weight, size)
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly workstation and facilities
