Moulder Operator

Job Responsibility

Learn all aspects of the Moulders, including safety, of oneself and crew to OSHA and Endura standards
quality per spec and production, and effectively execute customer specifications
Always wear proper eye and ear protection
Always follow proper lockout/tagout procedures
Make sure all employees in your area are following established safety procedures
Make sure no doors, aisles, electrical panels, or fire extinguishers are blocked with materials
Keep the machine in safe operating condition
Handle tooling (cutter heads) safely
Train the crew to work in a safe manner
Train crew to know the importance of quality
Be capable of figuring yield studies
Know the different stock used to produce all the different patterns
Keep the area clean and organized
Demonstrate ability to recognize tooling for each profile and assist with tool installation and removal
Start up and shut down equipment
Set up of kerf saw and infeed table
Must achieve LOTO certification
Cut in stones for all our profiles
Keep the machine running to get best efficiency possible
Prepare for changeovers
Must take responsibility and participate in Preventive Maintenance (PM) program
The operator must do all possible to make sure the machine is set up and running at the end of shift before finishing each day

Requirements

9th grade completion and be at least 18 Years Old
Good hand-eye coordination
Basic math skills
Read a caliper and tape measure to 1/32nd
Able to read, write, and understand to interpret documents like specs
Work well under pressure and be organized
Self-motivated and work with a sense of urgency
Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
Able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
Able to work safely and follow all plant rules
Able to multi-task

Nice to have

Preferably one year experience in a manufacturing setting
Experience with Training and coaching others
Operating a saw and other hand tools
Lockout/Tagout procedures
