Job Description:

Vertu BMW Motorrad Shipley are looking to recruit a Motorcycle Technician to join this expanding business. The role involves workshop work maintaining motorcycles, carrying out inspections, repairs, services, and ensuring compliance and high customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining New and Used Motorcycles to high standards set in Health and Safety policy
  • Carrying out inspections, repairs, and services
  • Checking motorcycles against VOSA legislation
  • Handling and storing parts
  • Completing Visual Health Checks
  • Ensuring paperwork is accurate and up to date
  • Completing jobs within agreed timeframes
  • Maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Analysis, diagnostics, and road testing vehicles
  • Delivering an outstanding customer experience

Requirements:

  • Relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2) as a minimum
  • Full Motorcycle License
  • Experience as a motorcycle technician
  • Franchise experience (ideal, not essential)
  • MOT License (welcome, not essential)

Nice to have:

  • Franchise experience
  • MOT License
  • Experience as a car or commercial technician with motorcycle experience
