Job Description

Full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday. Commitment required to work from 6:00am weekdays. Job Responsibility

  • Starting your day early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates at the facility
  • Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
  • Loading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day
  • Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businesses
  • Paired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development

Requirements

  • You hold a full or probationary QLD motorcycle licence, and ride a geared motorcycle regularly, and confidently
  • On employment, you'll need to successfully pass our mandatory and practical motorcycle assessment
  • You are flexible with finishing times and working additional hours to support service outcomes
  • You have a good memory, great hand/eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail for when sorting mail
  • You enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
  • You will need to meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully clothed (including helmet)
  • You are open to being flexible to transition to be trained and deliver on an Electric Delivery Vehicle if business requirements change
  • Keen to learn and grow, with pathways into senior delivery or mentoring roles
