Fixed term position until May 2027 (with potential to extend or be permanent) Part-time position working 20hrs per week Monday to Friday Commitment required to work from 10am - 2pm As an employee, access our 'Post Perks', a variety of discounted retailer and services benefits Help us deliver like never before As our Postie based out of the Cannonvale Delivery Centre, you’ll be operating and delivering on our *Motorcycle* as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day. *This position may transition to an Electric Delivery Vehicle from a motorcycle depending on future business requirements so applicants will need to be open to both modes of delivery when applying.*

Job Responsibility:

  • Starting your day at the Cannonvale Delivery Centre
  • Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
  • Loading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day
  • Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businesses
  • Paired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development

Requirements:

  • You hold a full or probationary QLD motorcycle licence, and ride a geared motorcycle currently, regularly, and confidently
  • On employment, you’ll need to successfully pass our mandatory and practical motorcycle assessment
  • You are somewhat flexible with work start and finish times and open to working additional hours if required
  • You have a good memory, great hand/eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail for when sorting mail
  • You enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
  • You will need to meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully clothed (including helmet)
  • You are open to being flexible to be trained and to deliver on an Electric Delivery Vehicle if business requirements change
What we offer:
  • Pay rate for this role is $32.34ph for the first 3 months, then $36.99ph once fully trained plus 12% superannuation
  • Paid recreational leave and personal leave is accrued as you work hours
