Job Description:

Permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday. Commitment required to work full-time hours from 6am (flexibility of finishing times required). As our Postie based out of the Kingsgrove Delivery Centre, you’ll be operating and delivering on our Motorcycle as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day. You’ll be working autonomously out on-the-road, interacting with others and being a team player. This position may transition to an Electric Delivery Vehicle from a motorcycle depending on future business requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Starting day early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with teammates at the facility
  • Completing daily vehicle safety check
  • Loading vehicle with deliveries for the day
  • Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to homes and businesses
  • Paired with experienced Rider Mentors for professional development

Requirements:

  • Hold a full or probationary Australian motorcycle licence
  • Ride a geared motorcycle currently, regularly, and confidently
  • Successfully pass mandatory and practical motorcycle assessment
  • Flexible with finishing times and working additional hours if required
  • Good memory, great hand/eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail
  • Enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors
  • Can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
  • Meet safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully clothed
  • Open to being flexible to transition to be trained and deliver on an Electric Delivery Vehicle if business requirements change
