Job Responsibility

  • Assists one or more workers in the skilled maintenance trades by performing specific or general duties of lesser skill
  • Performs a variety of tasks such as washing, lubricating, loading, unloading, and storing automotive parts and supplies
  • Maintains and cleans working areas
  • May be allowed to perform specialized machine operations, or parts of a trade that are also performed by workers
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • (1) one-year related experience working with U.S. Army combat and tactical equipment preferred
  • Relevant experience gained in commercial production control position is acceptable
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
  • Must have a valid and current state driver’s license
  • Must understand and be able to use Technical Manuals
  • Must be able to complete paperwork associated with vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to manipulate and use hand tools and hydraulic equipment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Passing a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check is required
  • Must be able to successfully pass a National Agency Check (NAC) within 60 days of hire, if required
  • Must be available for any shift
  • Willing to work weekends and other hours as needed
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
