Job Description:

This role is responsible to provide assistance and support to the Underwriting team in all aspects of underwriting operations, policies and procedures in line with Allianz Group requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Technical UW Execution - Responsible for underwriting direct and inward policies for Singapore across P&C Lines with a primary focus on Motor, including managing case referrals and portfolio/fleet underwriting
  • UW Guidelines - Provide product & UW training to distribution team on UW guidelines and frameworks. Function as contact point for product/UW clarification from other internal teams, including but not limited to Distribution and Claims

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Motor underwriting
  • Strong team player with effective organizational and communication skills
  • High level of integrity and accountability, with a positive attitude towards teamwork
  • Ability to multitask and perform well under tight deadlines

Nice to have:

Experience in a start-up or small company environment is a plus, especially where cross-functional ownership and entrepreneurial mindset are valued
