The Defendant Litigator role exists to deliver high-quality, cost-effective handling of litigated Defendant Motor Damage claims in line with legal, regulatory, and client requirements. The role provides technical expertise and ownership of complex litigation, ensuring cases are progressed proactively and resolved efficiently. By combining strong legal judgement with a customer-focused approach, the role supports positive customer outcomes and business performance. The role also contributes to team capability, consistency, and continuous improvement across the function.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or CILEx with a current practising certificate and the right to conduct litigation
  • Proven experience in civil litigation, ideally within motor damage or insurance-related matters
  • Strong technical capability in drafting, negotiation, and case management
  • Sound commercial judgement and understanding of cost-effective litigation strategy
